Hi All,
I am a student at Coffs Harbour Education Campus, completing a diploma in information technology system administration. I am in the final stage of the diploma and our major project is to set up a linux box that can replace a Nortel Contivity Switch.
Basically what we are attempting to do is pass the Novel context of the client to the linux box then either NAT or masquerade the clients ip to allow them access to one of 3 gateways. The ip allocation must be done according to the clients context on the NDS tree. Now my question is...would it be possible to have 3 seperate instances of squid each listening on one of the gateways? and each instance having its own cache? The filtering rules for each would be simple just block all trafic exept the ip range permited to use that pipe?
I hope that makes sence? Anyway i hope you can be of assistance and thank you in advance.
Regards
