setting up auto-responders

How do i set up e-mail auto-responders on my system?
it is a sendmail and procmail based system.

Do you have Webmin installed? If so, there is one built right into its Sendmail module. You just need to alias an email address to the script and define what the response will say. It very, very easy. Almost too easy. If you are not using Webmin, try looking for a program called vacation. Someone on this board suggested it to me, but I never got the chance to give it a whirl.
