I occasionally run a netstat -a -p |more, like Im sure alot of people do. I am curious as to why I have a boat load of UDP connections that look like this:
udp 0 0 mail.mymailserver:1588cache05.ns.uu.net:53 ESTABLISHED
I know its DNS, but why would I have somewhere around 20 listed in a netstat? It seems to build up over time. I reboot and they go away. Thoughts?
