Postfix and smtp auth

I can't get postfix to authenticate those clients trying to relay through my smtp server.

I've tried to compile cyrus-sasl to work with postfix, but I found no configuration example to configure my postfix. Is there any website that I can read on how to configure?

It can be done...see postfix mailing lists,there's been great amount of help/discussions about sasl/auth in general.Or shoot me email and i'll try to help ya :D...i got postfix/sendmail to work with cyrus-imapd/sasl although it still needs more work on my part...howto is coming soon.Oh and see CMU's site for more info in general.Hope this helps.
