Hi,

Whenever i point to subdirectory or ~username, my external domain name changes to mylinux host name then the ~username is appended. WHy? and how do i stop this? obviously my bogus linuxname isnt on the WWW.

Also, anyway to get www.xxx.dyndns.org (http://www.xxx.dyndns.org) to point to xxx.dyndns.org?

Thanks

I don't know the answer to the first question. But I already answered the second. You HAVE to donate to DynDns.org, they WON'T let you untill you do.

Thanks, I was planning on donating anyway, but I thought I read somewhere that you can use serverAlias *.xxx.dyndns.org ?? Or is this only for virtual hosts?

>> serverAlias *.xxx.dyndns.org

You can use it only if you have wildcard enabled in your domain zone record. If www.xxx.dyndns.org (http://www.xxx.dyndns.org) is not nslookup'able, you can't set ServerAlias to it in the first place.
