I've got a little problem with this info from www.apache-asp.org (http://www.apache-asp.org) :

Once you have successfully built the Apache Web Server with mod_perl, copy the ./site/eg/ directory from the
Apache::ASP installation to your Apache document tree and try it out! You must put "AllowOverride All"
in your httpd.conf <Directory> config section to let the .htaccess file in the ./site/eg installation directory
do its work. If you want a starter config file for Apache::ASP, just look at the .htaccess file in the ./site/eg/
directory.

1. What/where is the document tree?
2. <Directory> what is this?

Thanks for the help

Start here -> http://httpd.apache.org/docs/mod/core.html#documentroot

The questions you just asked are just too basic for Apache. You ought to start here -> http://httpd.apache.org/docs/, read thru it before asking further questions. BTW, you are not ready to challenge Apache::ASP.
