I have an apache server running off a cable modem (dynamic ip) at home that I would like to host my personal site off of. I cannot seem to find the steps that I should go through for this... Obviously I need to get with one of the dynamic name servers (dyndns), or I guess I could run my own name server, which I'm not too clear on...

Does anyone know how to go about this, any straight documentation on it ?

Thanks,
Mike

another case of read before you post :)

I signed up with zoneedit, that seems to handle most everything that I want... We'll see in 72 hours or so <G>..

Any other concerns that I should watch out for ?

Thanks,
Mike

I'm doing this with dns2go, but have used several schemes over the years. Dns2g0 works in abt 30 seconds, and has some really clever software for the client side. But, you are on the right track, good luck.
