Suggestions for Webmail,please.

Hi,

Im wanting to install a webmail server on RH7.2 box. probably sendmail, apache, some IMAP deamon, Squirrelmail, and maybe later Open_ssl

can anyone suggest IMAP deamon that works well w/ sendmail/Squirrelmail. Any tips/links to tutorials would be appreciated.

for an imap daemon i would recommend CourierImap. it is tested to work with SquirrelMail.. but i doubt it would work with Sendmail.. Qmail and Postfix that is.

also if u want to set up a web based mail (similar to hotmail) on sendmail then try Neomail at http://neomail.sourceforge.net/. its easy to setup and works cool..

Yes, I am using the nullsoft cgi scripts for this, with apache and sendmail. Only 2,3 months experience, but so far, it works great. Ray
