Hello all,

I'm using an axis 2100 webcam to write an image to a directory every 5 seconds. The way this happens is the camera opens up an ftp session on the server and writes the image.

I've successfully configured this on a RH 6.1 and RH 6.2 server using either wu-ftp or proftpd. The current setup I'm trying to use though is on an e-smith 4.0 server, it's based on RH 6.1.

The problem I'm having with this perticular setup is that the user can't overwrite the image in under 60 sec. I've trouble shooted to the point that it isn't the proftpd configuration. Which I believe leaves me with two alternatives.

One: permissions on the directory not allowing an overwrite of a file under 60 sec. or

Two: some tunable kernel configuration parameter. Any Ideas?

Thanks for your time,
Regards,
