Apache web access

I have Apache set up on my 486 using RH 6.0, I can access the webserver on my LAN, but not on an external machine. I am using the machine as a Gateway for the 3 PC LAN . I assume I am blocking access from the Internet to my web server, how can I fix this problem?
I would like to the run the 486 as a server.
