Got Quake 2 installed on my windows partition, but I decided I would like to play it under linux when the urge catches me and I don't feel like rebooting.
Installation of the linux binaries was flawless. I took measures to ensure Quake 2 ran properly with my GeForce2 MX 400, as per the README file.
But upon executing the game I get this:
------- Loading ref_gl.so -------
ref_gl version: GL 0.01
R_SetMode() - CDS not allowed with this driver
Initializing OpenGL display
...setting mode 4: 800 600
Received signal 11, exiting...
Does anyone have any idea what this means, and what can I do to fix it? It runs software mode, but not glx.
