Hi I downloaded and installed Pingus (a lemmings-clone but my screen resolution is set at 1024x768 and the game appears to be designed for 800x600, all "buttons" are misplaced!

When I want to click a certain button I have to press higher or the right or left of it...

Anybody any ideas on how to change this?

The Pingus site can be found at http://pingus.seul.org/
or http://dark.x.dtu.dk/~grumbel/pingus/

I believe I downloaded from the last site...

Thanks in advance

Hi again,

ok I should really look first then ask, at the above mentioned site I found this in the FAQ:

Question:
The game doesn't respond correctly to the
mouse, looks the the cursor position gets an offset applied when
the data is passed to the game.
Answer:
IIRC this bug apears when the physical
resolution could not match the requested resolution. To fix this
you can either add the Pingus resolution to your /etc/ X11/XF86Config or run Pingus in window
mode with ./pingus -F. Another solution
would be to run Pingus in a different resolution with ./pingus -g 1024x768, but that requires a
fast processor and a fast graphic card (probably also Xfree4.x).

I am going to try this out now, will keep you posted...
