Macintosh Store

Sup People, Ok heres some sick news I have. I live here in Colonie, NY. I went to CrossGates mall the other day, and discovered a new...disturbing store. A store totally devoted to the Macintosh. As usual there was a ****ty selection of games,and the computers seem to be all looks and no hardware. But heres a thought, WHY DON'T THEY DO A LINUX ONLY STORE!? I mean that would be so kewl, if there was software already to be installed on Linux, instead of downloading tons of files to make the ones we have work. I may be missing something, but I want a Linux Store man.

Why sell Linux software when most of it is free anyway? And the fact that only about 1% of home pc users have it installed means the store would go out of business in like 3 days.

Ok, did I forget to mention that was a just a quick thought? It would be kewl if there was a store though for that stuff. Cuase theres people who don't have a good connection to the internet, and may not be able to order things off the internet (me, my mom won't let me use the credit card online). Just a thought.

You have lots of resources to download everything you need. You can be patient and wait for the d/l over a 56k connection :p
You can go to a friends and use theirs
CyberCafe's are fairly priced and some even have CD burners available
Goto college. they usualy have at least a T1 for the students :D

Here's a quick thought...

You should research before you speak. The hardware in the Macs are equal if not better than most of the pc crap out in your Best Buy and other pc dominated stores. Just because you don't know what you are talking about doesn't give reason for ignorance.

But then again, it was just a quick thought.
