porting tribes2?

i regularly play tribes2 in windows, and that's the ONLY reason i keep my windows partition. I bought tribes2 before i heard loki was going to release it, and they do not have porting directions, probably because it makes them lose money...

But i don't have money to buy the linux version yet, so i'm trying to find a way to port it over.

Does anyone know a way? Possibly like the quake3 way?

Nope, Quake 3 and UT were a one off thing.
The only thing you can do with a windows version is turn it into a linux server
