Without OpenGL there's nothing I can do, and I've tried buying a new video card but compaq made this (*&#(*&#@$ computer (*&@#($*&# un-upgradable. Hi. There's no Direct3D layer for linux so OpenGL is the only choice... I don't remember seeing anything about Software mode in the Half-life howto. justlinux.com
