-f flag in heroes of M/M

I can only get he fullscreen flag (-f) to work while logged in as root in heroes of might & magic 3. is there a way to ge that to work while logged in as a normal user? :confused:

Set the right permissions in your XF86Config file. You will have to look over the docs or hopefully someone else will post the exact line. I'm not at my Linux box now so...
