Quake II

i have a Geforce II GTS and im trying to setup quake II, but i cant get it to work, i followed the doc on www.linuxdoc.org (http://www.linuxdoc.org) but i just cant get it to work, does anyone know of anyother docs anywhere or any ideas.

1. make sure that your drivers are fully working
2. go here and read the news about a Q2 hack(if your card supports it) allows u to completely hide X and run quake2 fullscreen.
I would run q2 at 1600x1200 in my geforce ddr really nicely. (40 fps)
