Right know I have Mandrake 7.0 installed and Q3 and Q2 work fine. UT wont load up and screws up my res when I try it.
I'm thinking of installing RH 7.0 so I can have Xfree 4.0 because im too chicken to install 4.0 on my own. Will it be worth it?

install 4.01 on your own. it is REALLY easy.

i thought it'd be hard. you basicaly just download it. install, and then run xf86config, and put in your monitor settings from your old XF86Config file.

check the upgrading xfree NHF. it's really simple. though, updating the drivers for your particular card could be a pain in the ***.

and lastly.. i've heard nothing but bad things about redhat 7. i wouldn't touch it with a 50 foot length of cat-5 cable.
