Mouse problems with wine

When I run Quake 3 with wine, I can't use the mouse. When I try to move the mouse into the window, it gets pushed to the lower right and corner of the window. The same thing happens while wine-ing the windows version of tuxracer.

In Quake 3, If i'm playing a game, and I move the mouse in, then I'll look up, as if the mouse is working, but only for a slip-second. The mouse gets pushed out of the window to the bottom right.

I think it's a directx problem. Any ideas?

DON'T USE WINE FOR GAMES THAT WILL RUN NATIVELY UNDER LINUX. :p
