We mods (FoBoT, Housen, and myself) have had a discussion and the consensus is that there is an implicit "buyer beware" clause involved with any transactions that are mediated by these boards, so in the event of any bad deals that may arise look not to us for a solution.

With that said, I think there should be a blacklist of who, and who not to trust. Sort of like the user ratings on ebay.

Mind you, I'm not quite sure how this could be done, but it would be nice to have so that we can keep the buying/selling/trading on the up and up.

Hmm... we (the mods) kind of have enough on our plate already, and I personally don't watch this forum that much anyway since it is generally "better" in terms of content and such.

Note the new disclaimer in the forum description/subtitle.

I do some trading on the hardforums and we usually refer to http://heatware.elitehardware.com/ to get references and all. I jsut got posted on this. The useres on this board might want to start using this. Just my .02

Have anybody gotten a bad deal trying to purchase anything from here? If so then post the username here!
