looking for some spare parts

im hoping to put together a dinky little linux server just to play with and learn from. i am VERY low on money (im an underpaid college student working in a hi-tech sweatshop -- tech support callcenter) and im needing help finding some spare parts. id REALLY like to upgrade my win pc and use my spare parts for the linux machine but unfortunately i just cant afford that mbd and 1ghz chip right now. so i was wondering if anyone had any spare parts they wanted to get rid of for cheap. not really worried about how up-to-date they are as long as theyre cheap and theyll work. drop me a line at

what are you looking for? i got a few 386 mobos with ram and some isa periferals ill give ya for free (you pay shipping tho) its cool to learn linux on a 386 =)
