uses for PGP nhf

i'm sure i'm not the only one who doesn't understand how you use pgp, and why it's useful. I've read about it, and still dont' get how it works... with the keys and all. I would appreciate a nhf dealing with this. I saw the one for installing pgp, but it didn't really go into the uses of it. I'd like to encrypt my emails, but i don't understand what keys i give people, what keys i encrypt things with, etc...

I just wanted to raise my hand in support. I'd love to see an NHF that deals with those questions and issues.

Hmm... I understand it pretty well, even though I don't use GPG (Free version of PGP) on a regular basis. I'll look into experimenting with it some more.... See if I can write or contribute to an NHF on it.

that would be sweet... thankyou... i just have a hard time understanding the documentation, when it's not in english... it's in tech language...

sure, i get some of it, but it's not quite clear on the purposes...
