As promised here it is...I need some help with Visual Basic. I don't like asking about it but I am stuck. I understand unix shell scripting, a little perl, awk, and sed. I need to put triggers in place for a Micro$oft Access program. The triggers have to kick off automated imports of unix generated tables into existing Access 2000 tables on a timed basis.
I dislike Microslop as much as the next Linux hack, but I've got to use it in this case. Does any one know the best way for a VB novice (and thats being generous to myself) to put together a cron type script to open a Microsoft Database and run a macro on a timed basis?
Any help would be appreciated. Even a general idea so I can research it on my own.
Thanx
