Hello,
I have just started to take a look at the bullant programming language/technology, looks pretty easy to learn and the developers of bullant at www.bullant.com (http://www.bullant.com) think its the next big thing (language is Bit like eiffel and java combined), their ideas look good and the over all plan of this language looks like it may have some potential in terms of client server applications, its also platform indepedant and unlike java it doesnt render the most worst looking interface for the device but knows what the platform is and can render an interface best suited for that device. Who's ever heard of it or even tried it. ?
Reason is i have been trying all sorts of stuff over the past 3 years, started writing programs in linux (perl, java,c++), then tried some windows visual stuff to see the differences, now currently writing what i would like to call a "Virtual Programmers Station" in C# which i can hopefully finish soon, after this i might try this bullant thing, does anyone have any ideas as to what they think of technology such as this ?
Basiclly applications can be run from the applications server from a special interface called the bullant remote, the applications can be something as small as a solitare game to a heavy duty word processor with the works, (when someone finally gets around to writing the WP it in the bullant language), so that people can access any sort of tool they want just by accessing the net.
Do you think this sort of thing would take off ?
