Rubrics Cube

This isn't really a programming question, but I find that programmers are generally really math smart.
Well I got one of those crazy rubrics cubes (with the triangles on the top) about a week ago and have been pulling my hair out since I got it!

WHAT IS THE SECREAT?

I was told that there is an equasion to go with them and there are people that can solve them in 30 sec behind their back.

I searched google for help but found nothing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

had a site bookmarked in windows that told you how to solve one really fast, but when i was backing up my stuff to format, the burn went bad (which i had no idea of at the time) so i lost it
to tell you the truth, i didnt understand the site one bit

i did a quick search on google and didn't find anything of much value but you may want to try
*you probably didn't find anything because its called a rubics cube
