Death Adder

Greetings, forum patrons.
I am known online as the "Death Adder". First and foremost of my many projects is my eternal dedication to the 1993 fighting game, "Super Fighter". I do my best to keep the game alive and well at the official website [http://www.superfighter.com/] through many projects. I have been authorized by the original design team to head-up all current and future projects related to the game.
For some time, I have been interested in seeing a Linux port of the game created, based on the original source code and related resource files. However, when I have looked into the Linux community for assistance, programmers are not comfortable to learn that my source code for the game is written in x86 ASM language, and not the easier to work with C or C++.
I have posted here because I am very interested in finding someone who may be currently looking to start a fighting game project but doesn't have complete resources to do it with. I have such resources, and am willing to share them for an open-source development of "Super Fighter" for the Linux operating system.
I have all original game resources on hand, including:
- Original x86 ASM source (commented)
- All sprites, graphics, music, sound, animation (documented and conveniently organized)
- Full documentation
- Tools to work with game resources
- My own, personal eight years of experience working with the game
Thusly, if you or someone you know would be interested in this project, I would be very glad to hear from you. Any creation of the game for Linux would be released freely on SuperFighter.Com as an open-source development; to benefit not only my cause but the open-source cause as a whole.
Thanks for your time. Take care.
