I really liked working with Borland Delphi and Object Pascal in the Windows environment and am wondering if anyone has tried Kylix for Linux and how it compares to the winblowz version for features and stability ??

yes... kylix is awesome. But too expensive for a pioneering product. $200?

oh to answer your questions more specifically, kylix is very very close to delphi in windows.

In fact, it's a ported version running in WINE
