After many hours reading thru posts on here, NHF's, & web pages, I FINALLY got my Windows XP, 98 & 98SE boxes to connect to my Linux (RH7.2) shares. I used SWAT to configure Samba, which was much easier than manually editing the .conf file. I saw some posts asking for step by step instructions on how to get Samba running, just send me an email & I will be glad to help. tstover@mailandnews.com
