Windows Printer

I upgraded to Redhat 7.1 just a couple of days back. I was trying to make this print to the windows NT printer that is on the LAN. I used printconf utility, and set the printer up. Now when I try to print a test page ( or any page) nothing happens. I see in the print queue and it shows three attempts to print the document and it exits giving a message that the job is removed.
I am kinda new to all this and would appreciate a detailed response.

I encounter the same problem, maybe worse. When I try to print a test page to the printer I see nothing in the print queue. My distro is also RH7.1 and the printer is a HP LaserJet 5000 which is also driven by a NT server in the LAN. I used printconf-gui to setup the printer and filled the IP address of the NT server, the name of the printer, and selected the correct drive type of it. I have a local printer already but still want to make the remote one available.
