mounting another pc

Hello all,

I am trying to mount a laptop on my desktop.

ex. mount laptop:/home/Harry /mnt/laptop/home/Harry

The error I get is:

mount: RPC: Unable to receive: errno = Connection refused.

The /etc/mtab file has been edited.

any ideas on what this error
means?

Do you have NFS running, and have added what you want to share to /etc/exports? Check some NFS how-tos for more info ;)
