Trying to see other desktops wia Konqueror

I am trying to see my other desktops with Konqueror. When I type in the IP of my other Dtops, All I receive is unknown host's or malformed address? Whats the correct way to do this? In Micro____ all I had to do was use explorer and go to Networking.
OH, all desktops have Man 8.1 w/ kde & knoqueror.

That's because on the windows products, the web browser can figure out you want to do Microsoft networking as opposed to web browsing. Konqueror does not know this and is trying to connect to a web server. If you want to browse your Microsoft network from Linux, you can use the smbclient command. For a GUI interface, look for LinNeighborhood. It is a GUI wrapper for the smbclient command.
