I have two computers at home connected as a local network using NetBEUI protocol under windows, but they don't seem to work with TCP/IP. On one PC I also have Linux-Mandrake 8.0. Does NetBEUI work in Linux, and if so, could anyone point me in the direction of a good HOWTO on the subject?

you should setup tcp/ip on both boxes, that is the best way to go

if you are having trouble getting tcp/ip working on both boxes , post some details and we'll see if we can't get you hooked up ;)

You can use NetBEUI in Linux, but... don't. UNIX is heavily TCP/IP based to its very core. What would you do with NetBEUI, exactly?
