I am on the Rogers@home Network, And Have tryed Everything (Well Not Really, Or I would have gotten it, LOL =P) To get My Linux OS to connect to the Rogers@home Network...
Does anyone know of a good Resource to learn Cable modem Networking for Linux?

What distro are you running?
Here is what i used to get on Mindspring Cable connection. Maybe it will help...
Make sure you have your ip address. Every time you see 111.222.333.444 is where your ip address should go. Should not need the the ip for your modem.
Go into xwindows. You'll need a mouse to chane the proto under Interfaces. At least I did.
Click on the Network button.

Does Rogers@home require a specific computer name?
Yes Rogers does require a Specific user name...
Unfortunatly... I have not been able to try the answers to theis post yet... I had lots to do this week, But I am going to right now =)
