(http://www.grc.com.) :D JBrian 03-01-2001, 04:31 AM Or better yet, www.crypto.yashy.com/nmap.php (http://www.crypto.yashy.com/nmap.php) ~Jeff Its_ON 03-01-2001, 04:51 AM hay www.crypto.yashy.com/nmap.php (http://www.crypto.yashy.com/nmap.php) dont work its all good thow.. i got nmap on one of my linux box i use it to scan my sys some times when im bored.. i cnat really find use of open ports i find.. i dont know what to do with the open ports unless its ftp, telnet, http, or u konw .. the basics.. u guys know of any sites that might just help me out a bit? pbharris 03-01-2001, 03:14 PM hey thanks people!! and i guess people do put others IP addresses... did not think about that. anyway, it is mine. JBrian 03-02-2001, 04:09 AM Oops.. try crypto.yashy.com/nmap.php instead, no www. Its_on, if you're trying to scan yourself from your own machine then your results aren't accurate, especially if you run a firewall. You should use an external site or have a friend do it. Both the sites posted above work pretty well... ~Jeff Strike 03-02-2001, 02:51 PM I checked - he's not lying, that's really his IP. Or he at least has the capability to post to this board from that IP. :) zolar 03-11-2001, 02:29 AM Well done. NMAP isn't even showing your OS type! I see http, telnet, ftp, and a bgp port open. BGP? Very interesting. No UDP ports open. Good job! :D justlinux.com
