I had apache and samba both running fine. I need a fixed IP for apache, eth0 was configured DHCP. The other day I gave the machine a fixed IP, I noticed today that samba won't start. It says it does but then fails on shutdown. When I try to start httpd, I get a segmentation fault and core dumped. I am not sure that changing the IP caused the problem, but would it? I tried setting eth0 back to DHCP but that did not fix anything. Are there any logs I can check for possible causes? According to boot.log, the last time httpd or samba startup succeeded was October 31, the day I changed the IP to fixed.

thanks
