diald error question

I am running a firewall gateway on a p100 w/16 megs of ram running RH6.2 . I am trying again on getting diald to run. I can get diald to run but it wont stay connected. I looked at the log files and all I get for the error is this:Oct 29 21:59:01 firewall diald[914]: Nonzero exit status (7) on command '/sbin/route add 192.168.187.2 metric 1 dev sl0'

Now my question is.... WTF does it mean? It might be that I am just frustrated and missing the whole thing and I am sorry if that is the case. But what exactly is the error telling me. If there is not enough info to tell what is going on then how do I turn up debugging? I read the man file and it is very fague on debugging.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
