Samba, pagefile.sys, gmc

This has probably been brought up before but I can't find the answer. When I mount a NT 4 drive using samba, I get the follow error when I try to view it using Gnome gmc.

File 'pagefile.sys' exists but cannot be stat-ed. Text file is busy.

Does anyone no how to avoid this without moving the pagefile to another drive or changing the mount point?
