I've got sendmail up and working. Seems to be going great!
Now I need to find something that will let me check the sendmail info from a web site. I don't want to encourage everyone to use hotmail, etc. at home.
One last thing - it also needs to be FREE!
Thanks.

I don't understand what you want to do exactly, could you expand on it a little.

are you talking about web-based email for sendmail?
i can't think of one on top of my head. If you go to www.sourceforge.net (http://www.sourceforge.net) and search for web based email. There are definately a ton out there.
I could be wrong but you might need to run a POP3 or IMAP server to actually get the mail through a web browser.
Hope this helps
have a nice day :)

Web-based email is exactly what we're looking for. Something like emu-mail, acmemail or the like. I need an app that will allow my users to go to our website and check their work mail from outside the building.

Check out Neomail at sourceforge. I'm running it for 300+ users and it works great, is free, very customizable, and is a no brianer to setup. You will need to install Apache with mod_perl to get it running. The only downfall in Neomail that I have seen so far is that is no way for users to change their passwords. Other than that, I highly reccommend it.

Has anyone tried rymo? Got it off of sourceforge (I think). It works - not real pretty but it does the trick.... Was wondering how secure that would be.
