I am trying to access drives on a windows machine and give the windows machine access to shares on this machine. I am using Mandrake 8.0. I know the machine has the correct ip to see the net work but I cant see the other machine and vise versa. Can anyone please help.

Do you have SAMBA setup? You will need this to allow access between *nix systems and Windows systems. There are tonnes of HOWTO's on it out there.

well if anyone finds a good one for redhat 7.1 let me know, I am having trouble..
