I have read the man page, but I really do not understand this error, can someone please help?

Failed to start dhcpd :
Internet Software Consortium DHCP Server V3.0rc10

For info, please visit http://www.isc.org/products/DHCP

** You must add a ddns-update-style statement to /etc/dhcpd.conf.
To get the same behaviour as in 3.0b2pl11 and previous
versions, add a line that says "ddns-update-style ad-hoc;"
Please read the dhcpd.conf manual page for more information. **

Have you tried doing what it suggests?
I've got a cablemodem that uses dhcp, but I don't have a dhcpd, my linux firewall uses pump, which is what Redhat 6.0 put in by default, and it works like a charm.
