RH 7.3 and VMware 3.1

Hello all,
I recently tried installing VMware 3.1 from an rpm and it installed beautifully. However, using the vmware-config.pl tool I'm running into a problem, when prompted for the C header files for my current running kernel I have no idea where to look (I'm running 2.4.18-3). If anyone has had any luck installing VMware on 7.3 or could shoot me some info it would be much appreciated.

Never used VMware, is it talking about the header files in /usr/include ??

Yeah it was looking for the kernel source which i didnt have installed in /usr/src ... so i downloaded and installed the source and had to build the module based off the kernel sources.
All is good now.

Hi there everyone,

Is anyone out there who could explain how I can get vmware 3.1 to run on rh 7.3?

I keep getting a message asking for the location of the C Header files:

/usr/src/linux/include

but nothing is in that folder.

I'm almost bald now cuz of all the hair that's been yanked out due to outright frustration...

Any ideas??
