vnc + ssh = me nuts

i have been trying for 3 days now to try and tunnel vnc through ssh but i have been having no luck. i followed the tut on the vnc site to get it going but no luck. i keep getting connection refused messages when trying to connect to port 5902 even though it listening. has anybody set this up before?

Got it going now, at work, tunneled through firewall, to home, out the server to LNO. Used the same guide to set it up, no problems. Can you get it to work when not tunnelling?

yeah it works fine when im not trying to tunnel, ive tried it on two different systems and get the same results on both
