Here's the situation. The gateway and my win 98 machine both have no problems. I just added another Redhat based machine to the network. From it I can ping the 98 box, the gateway internal, and the gateway external. But I can't ping yahoo.com or 66.218.71.113 (yahoo).

I can ping yahoo from the PC. Is this a DNS issue.

I don't know, are your dns servers listed in /etc/resolv.conf?
