Hi All...
I searched and checked all the other posts and so many of them come so close to what I need to get done, but not quite there! Ok, so here's my problem:
I've got 2 computers to get on the internet. 1 is dual booting win98 and rh7.1 and the other is on (I think) win2k rh7.1. I obtained a 486 in hopes of setting up a linux router for myself so that the one computer wouldn't disconnect when I left windows to use linux (very often). The 486's specs are a 486dx2 cyrix proc, a 3com ethernet card, and a USRobotics internal Courier 56k v.everything. And, as stated in the subject, I'm running coyote for all my routing needs, but I can't seem to get the fscking thing to dial AT ALL. Is there a com/irq setting that must be there? do I need a special dialing code? (some other site said, "use ATZ"...huh?) Please help me, it's 3 in the morning and I'm very, very tired...
A hopeful thanks in advance,
