I have set up a Redhat 7.0 Box, with a dial-up modem which acts as a Gateway for my Windows boxes to the internet, via IP Masq.

I want to connect 3x G3 macs to my network, and have them also use the internet. THe problem is i dont know a damn thing about macs. Is it as easy as put in the Gateway, as with windows computers, if so how do i do this on a Mac (be specific, i know nothing about macs) If not, can it be done easily, and if so how?

THe Linux Box can ping the macs, which are on TCP network. Cheers

Never used a Mac myself, but since they use TCP/IP just like the others, it would be just the matter of inserting the gateway, dns server addressess etc. in whatever configuration file(s).

I'm sure with some searching starting at Apple, you should be able to find some info on how to configure a Mac for networking.

Someone here might also be Mac literate.

I would imagine so.

Verifying this wouldn't hurt though.
