Changing domain, no reboot

I ran Slackware as my web server, want to change the domain on it. I can change it in /etc/hostname but all the logs still refer to it as hostname.example.net. How can I change the domain WITHOUT rebooting? :confused:

This is just a shot in the dark, but did you try to restart some services - network, named, inetd?
