when i connect to my server with telnet, then it connect , but i can't response because i think my server is holding the outgoing responses. so how can i set my security at low , so i can telnetting , and my firewall is not holding things.

do the drak thing, it has a security icon, set it to low(you'll probably have to destroy the window when it appears to freeze up later.) This is the quickest way, not necessarily the best. But it works.

do you also know it on console mode? ( or can you tell my how i can start x-windows when i am in console mode , mandrake by my start automatically in console so :(
please help

Don't know if this is 100% but I found that every time you change security levels, you also change your services. For instance, if you have security set high, you can run a web and FTP server, but no telnet. Run medium or low, you can telnet but no FTP or web. I tried to configure web manually when I had security at medium, but couldn't get the thing to work. I found that mandrake did a lot of things like that. So I switched to SuSe and found it much easier to configure. But who knows, I could be absolutely wrong.
