print to remote printer

i was hoping someone could show me a guide that describes how to print to a remote printer attached to a win9x machine from the linux box. i checked thru the docs and NHFs, but they show how to print from a win box thru a linux box (i.e. NOT what i want).
I know i need to edit /etc/printcap, but i dont know what i need to put in.

bleh, i went to that site and found: 'There is a Printing to Windows mini-HOWTO out there which has more info than there is here.'

so i looked around and found this: ftp://metalab.unc.edu/pub/Linux/docs/HOWTO/unmaintained/mini/Print2Win

but its latest edit was in 1996, bleh x2

Did you try the How-To's at www.linuxdoc.org (http://www.linuxdoc.org) as they are most likely maintained better.

There's a free online book available on Samba at Informit (http://infobase.informit.com/linux/).
