debian /etc/exports???

Does debian use /etc/exports as my woody system didn't have one? I've created it and entered what I require but my other linux box gets permission denied. My hosts.allow and hosts.deny are set correctly.

Any Ideas?

what does /etc/exports supposedly do? Considering i use debian and never heard of it i guess not.

Hmmm...I'm not using NFS on my debian system now but when I did, /etc/exports worked for me. I had to created it myself as well, but all was good :cool:

Oh, /etc/exports is just where you configure your NFS mounting and what not.
