My problem is when I try to use any FTP on a squid client, I get read-only access on remote FTP sites when using a FTP browser, but when I FTP from the squid server I get both read and write permissions to the remote FTP site.
I am using squid on a RedHat box that is connected up to a firewall, and the squid box is allowed FTP access through the firewall.
Are there any "special permissions" that I must set to the "squid" user/group, or any setting within the "squid.conf" file in order to allow the squid clients to be able to have full read/write permissions to remote FTP sites?
It is confusing the heck out of me, because the squid sever has full FTP permissions to remote FTP sites, while the squid clients have read-only permissions!
Any help would be great!
